Emmy and Tyler were married on July 31st of this year. The weather was absolutely perfect! I’m not kidding! It was the kind of summer day that was so wonderful that people couldn’t help but say, “I hope you were able to get out this weekend to enjoy the amazing weather!” I was so happy to have been blessed with an outdoor wedding on such a lovely day! This was my first time shooting a wedding at Chapel Road Retreat in Andrews, IN. It is such a great location. The venue has a beautiful covered outdoor area for the ceremony and the surrounding area is shaded with huge trees and there is even a large field at the end of a trail which is perfect for photos. Emmy and Tyler had their precious pup Phoebe come to the venue so we could get a few photos with her before the ceremony. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… if you are thinking about or want to have your pet involved in your wedding day – DO IT!!!! I’ve even had a cat show up for “his parent’s” wedding day! It is so much fun to incorporate fur babies into wedding days! I have also had a dog try to pee on her owner’s wedding dress, but we got it all cleaned up and no one ever knew, ha! Thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this day so perfect! It was a great team to work with and a huge shout out to my assistant Anna Lowe for all her help.
