I don’t even know where to start with this blog.  Oh my goodness.  I guess I could start by telling you what happened at the end of the day.  As I drove home on Interstate 65, I couldn’t help but feel so incredibly lucky to have been a small part of such an amazing day.  It truly was a day full of love, laughter, family and friends – did I mention laughter?  There was a lot of laughter.  Anyways, I actually started to get teary eyed.  I could try to blame it on hormones, but that wasn’t the reason.  This bride and groom and all their friends are so special to me.  I have known many of them for a while now because I have been lucky enough to photograph different weddings from this group of friends.  Most of them grew up together in Peru, IN – just needed to give a shout out to the Circus Capital of the WORLD!  I was counting down the days to this wedding and it was awesome!  First of all, we lucked out with incredible weather!  I was actually outside taking pictures of these beautiful people and I didn’t even need my coat…  in JANUARY!!!!!!  Thank you, Jesus!  Second, the venue was beautiful!  The Mavris in downtown Indy is just stunning.  Wow….  everywhere you look is just…  wow.  Third, my talented friend Elizabeth Chapman of Elizabeth Chapman Photography was my wonderful 2nd shooter for part of the day!  And fourth, when you have 2 people who look like this – you can’t go wrong with photos.  Enough said.
