I don’t even know where to start with this blog. Oh my goodness. I guess I could start by telling you what happened at the end of the day. As I drove home on Interstate 65, I couldn’t help but feel so incredibly lucky to have been a small part of such an amazing day. It truly was a day full of love, laughter, family and friends – did I mention laughter? There was a lot of laughter. Anyways, I actually started to get teary eyed. I could try to blame it on hormones, but that wasn’t the reason. This bride and groom and all their friends are so special to me. I have known many of them for a while now because I have been lucky enough to photograph different weddings from this group of friends. Most of them grew up together in Peru, IN – just needed to give a shout out to the Circus Capital of the WORLD! I was counting down the days to this wedding and it was awesome! First of all, we lucked out with incredible weather! I was actually outside taking pictures of these beautiful people and I didn’t even need my coat… in JANUARY!!!!!! Thank you, Jesus! Second, the venue was beautiful! The Mavris in downtown Indy is just stunning. Wow…. everywhere you look is just… wow. Third, my talented friend Elizabeth Chapman of Elizabeth Chapman Photography was my wonderful 2nd shooter for part of the day! And fourth, when you have 2 people who look like this – you can’t go wrong with photos. Enough said.
Thank you so much, Heather and Grant. You guys are both so awesome and you are even more incredible together as a couple. I can’t wait to see what is in your future. Here are a few more photos from their beautiful wedding day!
These are all such amazing pictures. You are blessed with an amazing talent for photography!
My name is Ashleigh Sonnenberg, and the founder and editor of MarryMeMetro.com, a new city wedding ideas blog from metropolitan brides and grooms. The mission of my blog is to inspire brides with incredible city weddings, a niche that I feel is vastly underrepresented in the wedding blogosphere.
I am currently reaching out to amazing city photographers who have an eye for capturing exceptional weddings in incredible city spaces and I found many stunning images on your blog and I would absolutely LOVE to feature your work on Marry Me Metro! I couldn’t locate your email anywhere to contact you so I apologize that this is in the comment section (although I would love to feature the wedding of Heather and Grant on M3!).
Thank you so very much and have a lovely week! I look forward to speaking with you more!
