I have known Allis since she was an adorable, spunky middle school kid. I had the awesome privilege of being her volleyball coach for a few years. We formed a close bond when she was young and I’m so happy that we have continued to stay close over the years! I love this girl and am so proud of the young lady that she has become. She is honest, funny, loving, extremely loyal and has never once pretended to be someone she isn’t. And did I mention she can be spunky? ha! And Sam, her handsome fiancé, is just as amazing! The three words that come to mind when I think of Sam are – kind, calm and collected! I adore him and love them together as a couple. I am so honored and excited to photograph their wedding weekend next year! They will be getting married on June 20th of 2020 in a beautiful Catholic ceremony and then they will have a garden ceremony at the Black Iris Estate on June 21st of 2020. There are two really cool things about those dates. Allis has always wanted to be married on June 20th because it is her grandparents’ wedding anniversary – she even has it tattooed on her arm (check out the cute photos at the end of this post and you’ll see it). And June 21st is my wedding anniversary with my husband – so we will be able to share that anniversary with them, too! We went up to Newfields (Indianapolis Museum of Art) for their beautiful engagement session and then we drove to Roncalli where Sam attended high school and where he currently is part of the football coaching staff. I love when locations have special meaning and they even got jerseys to show off their wedding dates – 6/20 and 6/21! Can’t wait for their wedding next year!!!!!
