Ali and Matt were married in a beautiful ceremony in her parent’s backyard. The entire day was perfect. The rain held off which seemed nothing short of a miracle because I’m pretty sure it rained almost every day in June. I was so thankful to be a part of this amazing wedding and absolutely loved getting to know Ali and Matt and all of their friends and family. The day started with the girls hanging out and getting ready at Ali’s neighbor’s house. After Ali’s mom helped her into her dress, we did a first look with Ali’s bridesmaids which resulted in happy squeals and some sweet tears. Then we had a first look for Ali and her dad which was so incredibly precious. It’s moments like these that make me love wedding days. Ali’s parents’ backyard was a stunning backdrop for the beautiful ceremony and it was followed by a fabulous reception that took place in a beautifully decorated tent. I’m not kidding – at one point in the evening, I stepped back and looked at it all and felt like I was on a movie set. Thanks to their fabulous wedding coordinator Jessica Robbins for all her amazing work – everything came together so perfectly. And a huge shout out to my second shooter, Katy Davis!
