I have two words for you.  Grand Canyon….  AAAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!  Oh my goodness!  This wedding was an absolute dream!  I have known this beautiful couple for a long time.  In fact, I’ve known Morgan since he was a little boy and have loved watching him grow up over the years.  And I’ve known Holyn since she was in high school and last year she was my awesome photography intern. (You need to check out her work – she is amazingly talented!  https://www.facebook.com/holynvictoria/)  I did their engagement session last September downtown and I loved how their photos turned out (http://www.catsatrephotography.com/morgan-and-holyn/) and I could only imagine how stunning they were going to look with the Grand Canyon as the backdrop for their wedding!  Let’s just say – it didn’t disappoint.  Get ready – this blog post is a longer one because I just had such a hard time narrowing down their photos.  The entire wedding day was amazing!  We started the day at our hotel where everyone got ready and I loved being a part of it all.  One of my favorite moments of the day was when Morgan’s parents prayed over him in his hotel room and Holyn’s parents prayed over her in her room.  It was such a sweet time and made me excited for the times when I will get to pray over my kids on their wedding days.  The wedding was perfect.  The weather had called for rain at the Canyon but right before the ceremony, the fog lifted and the clouds broke apart and the sun came shining down as Morgan and Holyn said their “I-dos.”  And then after the ceremony, Holyn and Morgan explored the Canyon – nothing stopped them!  Rock wall?  No problem – Holyn scaled the rocks in her dress.  Scary heights?  No problem.  Morgan put his fear of heights behind him so we could get some epic shots.  Congratulations, guys!  Thank you for letting me come along and photograph your stunning wedding day!
