Well, the holidays are over and life is getting back into a “normal” schedule again. I’ve had some quiet days while my kids are at school and have been able to get some work done. I’m so excited to blog photos from this gorgeous Christmas wedding! Let me start by saying that I was so impressed by this couple. Kendra and Landon love Jesus with all their hearts and kindness just oozes out of them both. Kendra is stunningly beautiful and has such a sweet and gentle spirit. It reminded me of the scripture in I Peter 3:4, “Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” And Landon is dashingly handsome with a smile that lights up a room. And he was so sweet – he had written Kendra different letters to read on their wedding day and one of them was to be read at their “first look.” I love being a “fly on the wall” during these moments on a wedding day. After Kendra read her note, they prayed together and then they saw each other for the first time. This resulted in a hug that seemed to last forever because Landon just kept holding his bride so tight. It was perfect. Kendra and Landon were married at the Barn at Bay Horse Inn which was perfectly decorated for Christmas. They had a sweet little bridal party and I have to admit that I fell in love with their flower girl. It was Kendra’s little niece who is the cutest thing ever and was such a trooper the entire day even when I made her go outside in the chilly weather. I had so much fun being a small part of their wedding day. And I also want to say a huge thank you to Joy Lane for second shooting with me and getting me so many wonderful photos! Congrats, Kendra and Landon! Can’t wait to see what God has in store for you!
