This is my last wedding to blog from 2023 and it was absolutely stunning! I’m so excited to share it with you! I have known Jake and his family for a long time and have loved watching him and his siblings grow up over the years. Jake is awesome! He has always been so kind and gracious! I got to meet Rachel for the first time at our consultation meeting and as the three of us chatted about their wedding day plans, I couldn’t believe how absolutely sweet and intentional she was and it made my heart so happy that these two incredible humans had found one another. They worked hard to make sure that everyone at their wedding felt loved and cared for and that most of all that God was honored and glorified! My favorite moment from their day was their first look. It’s moments like this first look that I feel like pinching myself! How is this my job? How am I given this amazing privilege of being in the same room during such a beautiful moment? The words they had written to one another were perfect and so heart felt and I think I actually was shedding some tears as I praised Jesus for the marriage of Jake and Rachel. We started the morning at the Barn at Bay Horse Inn where the girls got ready with hair and makeup and then we joined the guys over at Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin where Jake and Rachel’s beautiful ceremony took place. The evening ended at their gorgeous reception at the Garment Factory. Guys, I’m not kidding – I gasped out loud when I walked into their reception room. The Garment Factory is beautiful no matter what but the way they decorated this place and their attention to detail was… goodness, I have no words… Chef’s kiss! Rachel told me that they desired to have an old Hollywood vibe for their wedding day and they nailed it! Every detail from the florals to the live band was old Hollywood. Congratulations, Jake and Rachel. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your amazing and beautiful wedding day.
