I met up with Austin and Alyssa at Eagle Creek Park a couple weeks ago for their engagement session and it was sooooo hot – but not just “normal hot”. It was the kind of heat with extreme humidity that fogs up your glasses (or camera lens) when you step outside. If you live in Indiana – you know what I mean. So, I want to give a toast and raise a glass to Austin and Alyssa for surviving an entire photo shoot with me while sweating profusely. They were troopers and I had so much fun with them. We started off the session by including Austin’s precious son in a few photos! This kid stole my heart by telling me how fast he is and how he can run like a cheetah. He told me about his dog, what grade he was in and what he liked about school. And as a bonus – he followed my posing instructions perfectly for all the photos! After he rocked his part of the photoshoot, he happily left us to go play on the playground with his grandma. Austin and Alyssa explored the rest of the park with me and were absolutely fantastic to work with. They made smiling and cuddling in extreme heat and humidity look easy.
