It was such an incredible honor to photograph this amazing and beautiful couple on their wedding day. I have known Claire and Camden for years and actually got to coach Claire in middle school volleyball. I have so many fun memories of her from those years. She was tiny but fierce and wasn’t afraid of anything. That girl would sprint across the floor to get to the ball before it hit the ground. Claire is fun and energetic and brings tons of laughter to any room she enters. And have I mentioned how gorgeous she is?!?!? Holy Moly! Claire and Camden are such a stunning couple! Speaking of Camden – I have such a sweet memory of him. Claire and Camden were in their high school’s musical production of Mary Poppins. Claire was Mary Poppins and Camden was Bert! Seriously – how cute is that! I took my kids to watch one of the performances and both Claire and Camden were so amazing and talented. Finn (my son) was especially in awe of Camden’s singing and dancing. Afterwards, he begged me to take him to talk to Camden so that he get a photo with him. (And Finn still has a the print of that photo.) I feel like that story is a good one to describe Camden. He is so kind to everyone he meets. God knew what He was doing when He put these two together. They are quite a dynamic duo. And their wedding day was like a dream! The rain didn’t dampen anyones spirits and everything was perfect. We started off the day at Ironsworks Hotel where the girls did hair and makeup and then we drove over to their beautiful wedding venue – Laurel Hall. There were so many amazing moments throughout the day. Claire did a first look with her dad that brought sweet tears to everyone in the room. Camden and Claire had a first look that is one of the most precious things I have ever seen. Their ceremony was so wonderful and Christ centered with a beautiful time of worship. But in my opinion the most amazing part of this day was… the reception!!! Oh. My. Word… I have never witnessed such an amazing dance party. The party started strong, stayed strong and ended super, crazy strong!!! I did my best to capture the moments in photos but I also can not wait to see what their amazing videographers from White in Revery captured. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this day so magical and a special thanks to Annie Syers for being an amazing second shooter! Congrats so much to the new Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. I’m so excited to see all that God has in store for you guys!
