When my amazing friend, Liv, asked me if I could take photos of her family for her parents’ wedding anniversary – I was like “YES!!!!  COUNT ME IN!”  I have known them for years and they are all so much fun.  I loved the idea of capturing this beautiful family in photos and getting to really focus on the amazing couple who is about to celebrate 30 years together as man and wife.  We met downtown at the War Memorial and it was a beautiful Spring day – just slightly windy… oh, who am I kidding…  the wind was insane but we worked with it and this family rocked it!  And there was a HUGE surprise at the end of this session that only 3 people knew was coming – me, Seth (their son) and his wife, Callie.  They are having a baby and I was able to capture the moment that they told their family.  It’s moments like these that I love being a photographer.  The look on his mom’s face as she read the pregnancy note on the wine bottle is perfection!  Thank you for letting me be a small part of such a huge moment!  🙂
This is when the surprise happened!!!!  I handed them the wine bottle with the announcement facing away from them and told them it was just in honor of their anniversary. Then I told them to turn it around and read it.  🙂
