This was one of my favorite weddings from 2016! I fell in love with AJ and Rebecca when I shot their engagement photos down in Bloomington. And it’s not just because they bought me some of the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life. (Oh goodness… I’m drooling just thinking about them. Mmmmm…. Cookies…) AJ and Rebecca are such a sweet and fun couple with a love for life and each other. Their wedding took place downtown at the Indiana State Museum which is such an amazing wedding venue here in the city. There were so many beautiful moments throughout the day but two of my favorites were with Rebecca and her dad. Rebecca wanted to do a first look with her dad before she saw AJ. And oh my… it was perfect. There were smiles, tears, hugs and a prayer. Rebecca’s dad grabbed her hand and they prayed together. It was amazing. My second favorite moment was at the reception. Rebecca and her dad danced together and it started off slow and normal and then turned into a fantastic choreographed dance that had everyone rolling with laughter! (I guess I should mention that Rebecca and her sister are both extremely talented dancers.) I want to warn you now that this will be a long blog post with lots of photos because I had a hard time narrowing them down. And also check out this beautiful video that Kaiser and Hannah DeKam made for them. Congrats, AJ and Rebecca!!! I loved being a part of your wedding day.
