Looking back at 2016, I am realizing that I had quite a few rainy, outdoor weddings.  This one also ended up being a little soggy – but just for part of the day.  I still have never had a wedding day where it rained the entire time.  (And I’m praying that continues.)  Josie and Mariano were married this past June.  Everyone got ready at her Aunt and Uncle’s beautiful home and, luckily, we were able to get all the photos done on their amazing property before the storms came in.  We finished just in time!  As I got in my car to drive to the ceremony and reception site, the heavens opened up and one of the fiercest thunder storms came whipping through Indiana.  It was one of those storms where your windshield wipers aren’t helping at all – even at their highest speed.  We all arrived safely for the ceremony but unfortunately (because of the rain) the ceremony had to take place under the reception tent.  But it really didn’t matter – Josie and Mariano were married with all of their closest friend and family there to witness!  It was a beautiful day!  Congratulations, Josie and Mariano!  I’m so happy for you and your beautiful, little family.
