Weddings are always amazing but they are a little extra special when you have close connections to the bride and groom.  I have known Lucas since he was a little guy and have watched him grow into an amazing young man.  My husband had the privilege of being his high school basketball coach and my family and I loved watching him play.  And, actually, I constantly use him as an example to my boys.  I often say, “Do you think Lucas just woke up one day and was a great ball player?  Nope, he practiced and practiced and practiced.”  And I got to know Kierra when she was in high school because I had the awesome opportunity to coach her in volleyball.  So, needless to say, I adore them both and was so excited for their big day.  They were married this past July on a hot, sunny day that was filled with smiles and laughter and… did I mention the sun?  🙂  The ceremony and reception took place in the backyard of some amazing friends and it was the perfect backdrop for this summer wedding.  Congrats, Lucas and Kierra!  Love you guys so much!
