James Taylor sure knew what he was singing about.  I’m currently “going to Carolina in my mind” as I look out in my backyard and see tons of snow, sigh.  I absolutely love the Outer Banks and this past summer my family took an amazing vacation with our good friends, the Reeds, to Hatteras (or as I like to call it – Heaven on Earth).  It was the perfect backdrop for their family photos.  I admit I’m pretty jealous of my photography friends who live close to a beach.  It was so much fun to have a change of scenery.  Here are some of my favorites from their shoot.
Then on a different day, we took some more photos of the kids at a few different locations around Hatteras, NC!  It was so much fun to go exploring and do some fun, relaxed photos with these guys!Here is a shot of our beach and our house!  Heaven on earth!  Can’t wait to go back!
