After meeting with Ethan and Christina to talk through their wedding day, I knew it was going to be something truly special—one of those days you don’t forget. From the start, they were clear that they wanted their wedding to be centered on their guests and on spending meaningful, quality time with friends and family. Simple, intentional, and full of heart—just beautifully documenting their day as it unfolded.

At one point, Christina described their vision as having a bit of a Studio 54 vibe… and then mentioned she’d be wearing a gold dress. I was instantly sold.

Their day began with a massive snowstorm—like, serious snow. They both got ready at their adorable home in Franklin, Indiana, and at one point I glanced outside to see Ethan shoveling the sidewalk. Shoveling snow… On his wedding day!!! Inside, the house was buzzing with life—filled with Christina’s kids, their friends, and even a couple of her precious grandchildren.

After capturing a few moments at home, we bundled up, braved the cold, and headed down the street to Haberdasher Distillery—the spot where Ethan and Christina had their very first date. As I took their portraits there, I kept thinking how effortlessly cool these two are. From there, we walked over to the Garment Factory for family photos as guests began to arrive.

The evening flowed perfectly into cocktail hour and mingling, followed by the sweetest ceremony right in the middle of the dance floor. After hugs and happy tears, dinner was served—and then the party began. And what a party it was. A live band, a packed dance floor all night long, and nonstop energy.

It was an absolute joy to be part of such a wonderful, unique, and love-filled wedding day. Congratulations, Ethan and Christina—you two are truly incredible.
