I met Carolyn for the first time for coffee at Monon Coffee Company (such a good coffee shop!). It was the normal planning meeting that I do with my clients before their wedding to discuss timelines and all the little details that happen on wedding days. From the moment I sat down with Carolyn, I felt like I had known her forever. She has such an incredible sweet and kind spirit and you can tell she cares for everyone around her! I could have sat with her for hours and talked about anything! She is such a sweetie! But what I loved most about our meeting was the way that she smiled when she talked about Tyler. I knew that their wedding was going to be so incredibly wonderful. Carolyn and Tyler’s wedding day started off at The Columbia Club on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. The hustle and bustle of everyone getting ready was happening when I arrived and everyone had smiles and there was so much laughter! After I gave Carolyn a quick hug, I ran to find Tyler and all his groomsmen. Man! Let me tell you, I loved this group of guys! They were so hysterical and so much fun to be around but always ready to listen! Tyler even stood in front of the “crazy lady painting” for me for a few getting ready photos – no questions asked! (Scroll down and you’ll see what I mean.) After Carolyn and Tyler were both ready, we did a first look and had time for photos around the city before heading over to the church. They were married at St Mary Catholic Church which is one of the most beautiful churches in our city. Then we were back at the Columbia Club for an amazing cocktail hour and reception! Congratulations, Carolyn and Tyler! Thank you so much for hiring me to be your wedding photographer! It was so fun getting to know you both and all your friends and family!
