I’m going with an Olympic theme for this blog post! Here is a little known fact about me. In 2000, I went to Sydney, Australia to work at the Olympic Games. It was such an incredible experience and gave me such an appreciation for all the athletes around the world. So, it should be no surprise that lately my television has been tuned in to a lot of volleyball, gymnastics and swimming while I edit. You might be wondering – Cat, what in the world does this have to do with weddings? Well, I’m so glad you asked. (Here is where I’m going to tie this all together and it might feel like a stretch but just stick with me.) If weddings were part of the olympic games, Spencer and Ashleigh’s wedding day would win the gold medal. I know it sounds a little cheesy but I have been a wedding photographer for a long time now and their wedding day now ranks as one of my all time favorites. It was beautiful, joyful, stress-free, and everything they did was centered on Christ with a goal to glorify and worship Him. Every person involved was an absolute joy to be with and work with. The venue was stunning. The ceremony was perfect. The dance party was epic! I could go on and on. Spencer and Ashleigh, it was an incredible honor to photograph your day. Thank you to you both. I can not wait to see what God has in store for you!
