I have written and re-written this blog post about 5 times now. I am trying to find the right words to say and can’t seem to find them. So…. Here I go again…. If you know the Abell family, you know how lucky you are. They are all so amazing! And I have been so blessed to have gotten to know them over the past few years. I was so honored and excited to photograph Grace (Abell) and Ross’s wedding! I couldn’t have asked for a better day! Grace and Ross were the perfect couple to photograph – so stunning. (You can tell this by my massively long blog of photos – it was so hard for me to pick out just a few!) Here is where I keep getting stuck…. You see… not long ago, Grace’s mom, Penny, passed a way. I feel like I am leaving out a huge part, if I didn’t mention her. I was so lucky to have met Penny. Soooooooo lucky! I actually took some family photos for the Abells before her first surgery. Penny was amazing. She sent me some of the most encouraging and sweetest facebook messages. Kindness just seemed to ooze out of her. 🙂 And I wanted to mention this because I see the same quality in her husband and her children. Going back to the beginning of my post – “If you know the Abell family, you know how lucky you are.” I am lucky. And I am thankful. I am thankful that this job I do – photography – allowed me to meet this family and be able to call them my friends. Grace and Ross, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day! I loved every minute of it!
I can not wait to see what God has in store for your future together as man and wife. Congratulations!
Cat —- gooooooorgeous, just wow. <3
