Time keeps marching on! Recently on facebook a memory popped up from 4 years ago and it was this photo… For this who don’t know this about myself, I coached volleyball for ten years at Greenwood Christian Academy. I loved coaching and I love volleyball but what I really loved the most was getting to know so many wonderful girls over the years. The group in this photo are some of my girls on their graduation day 4 years ago. And now these girls are all grown up! Some just graduated from college, one is already married and a couple more are getting married this year! I can not tell you how stinkin’ proud I am of all of these ladies! And I praise Jesus for the amazing opportunity He gave me to have them in my life! So, what does this have to do with my blog post? Last week I had the chance to do an engagement session for Alysia (second from the left) and her amazing fiancé, Elijah! And it was awesome!!!!! Lots of fun and laughter!!!! Alysia loves nature so we wanted to be sure to have lots of plants, grass and trees in their photos. So we met up at a nearby field and then took some photos at the Garfield Park Conservatory. The love that these two have for one another is very easy to see and it made my heart so happy to know that God provided Alysia with a man who loves her with all his heart. I mean, he was willing to sweat for almost an hour in the Conservatory for the session – that right there shows he has a servant’s heart! 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from their session. Love you Alysia and I’m so happy for you guys!!!!
