I have known Claire since she was a little girl.  I was blessed to be in a small group Bible study with her mom when Jamie and I were first married.  I have some of the sweetest memories of Claire from those years.  Claire was this cute little blonde girl with the biggest smile and sometimes she would come into the living room while we were finishing up our study and she would just sit and play with my friend Stacy’s hair.  Stacy’s hair was longer than mine at the time – lucky!  I actually pay my kids money to play with my hair now!  Ha!  Now that cute little girl is all grown up and married!  It hit me hard a few times during her wedding day as I looked at this stunningly, beautiful woman in a gorgeous white wedding dress.  Where did the time go?  Then Claire would smile that same big smile that she had as a little kid and it made me so thankful.  So thankful to do this job.  I’m so blessed to be a small part of such an important day in people’s lives.  I’m so lucky that I get to see all the behind the scenes moments of a wedding day – the laughter and the happy tears – the hugs and the inside jokes!  I love that I get to capture in photos all the sweet memories of family and friends – whether it’s praying quietly before the ceremony or singing along with “Pour Some Sugar on Me” at the reception.  Weddings are so amazing!  And this particular wedding was definitely amazing!  Claire married Andrew, the love of her life, on Saturday, December 23rd downtown at the Indiana Landmarks Center.  Claire’s dad preformed the beautiful ceremony and one of my favorite moments was when he hugged them both after pronouncing them husband and wife.  Their reception was one of the most beautifully decorated receptions that I’ve ever seen.  I can not say enough good things about Drew Hoopingarner from Bliss Even Design.  He worked so hard on all the details – big and small – and everything was absolutely perfect.  And thank you to my amazing second shooter, Ariel Eldridge, for all your amazing photos and help!  Now here are some photos!  Congratulations, Claire and Andrew!
