Meet Whitney and Austin – a sweet and precious couple that I loved getting to know last month at their engagement session. We started their session at a local park in Southport where we had to endure some pesky bugs in the woods but they never once complained. (Sorry again about that mosquito bite on your forehead, Austin!) After finishing up the photos at the park, we went downtown to Monument Circle which is a very special place to them because that is where Austin proposed. I love when we get to shoot in places that have sentimental value to my couples. We ended the evening up on the War Memorial which is truly one of my favorite places to shoot in the city. I wonder if I will ever get tired of photographing there. It is just such a beautiful building and I love how you’re in the heart of the city but it isn’t stressful or crazy. Here are a just a few of the photos from their session. Whitney and Austin, thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer. I can not wait to photograph your beautiful wedding next year!
