So… have you ever wondered how to turn a wedding into an instant party? Add rain… Lots of rain! I’m not kidding. Most brides dread the thought of rain on their outdoor wedding but after experiencing this particular wedding – I’m beginning to think we need to look at rainy ceremonies in a different light. But before I go on any further, let me introduce you to my gorgeous bride, Anna. I got to know this precious girl when she played volleyball for me in middle school. I had so much fun with her and feel so lucky to have been able to watch her grow up into the amazing lady that she is today. If I had one word to describe Anna it would be fun. She is so much fun to be around – constantly laughing and giggling! Her smile lights up a room and she always makes you feel loved, important and cared for. And I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am that she fell in love with Adam. This guy is a keeper. He is so sweet and kind and thoughtful. Just let me tell you a little about the wedding present he gave Anna. He got her all her favorite treats, a new pair of earrings and made her a recipe box and put in a recipe card for “How to Keep Anna Happy.” It was so sweet and as Anna read the recipe allowed, you could hear all her bridesmaids saying “aaaahhh” in happy excitement for their friend. The day was filled with tons of amazing moments but I must say my favorite was when the rain started to come down right before Anna was to walk down the aisle with her dad. The wedding processional just kept right on going and Anna walked down the aisle laughing with her dad and this was the best part – her amazing guests stood, clapped and cheered for them! It was awesome!!! We got soaked but nobody cared because we were all so happy to be celebrating this couple. Congrats, Anna and Adam. I’m so excited for you both!
