This post feels a little surreal to write. You see, the very first time I ever photographed Ian was during a family session back in 2010. He was a tiny little guy with curly hair and a big grin. And the first time I photographed Faith was 9 years ago. She was just a little girl with the kindest spirit and the sweetest smile. And now, all these years later, I have the honor of photographing their wedding.

Watching these two grow up into the incredible people they are today has been such a gift. It’s been so fun to watch their story unfold from dating in high school, to falling in love and then getting engaged. And it will be so amazing to watch them become husband and wife next summer at the Conservatory at Evergreen. I can not wait to shoot at their venue!!!!!

We headed down to Columbus, Indiana a couple weeks ago for their engagement session, and it was one of those Indiana summer evenings. Hot doesn’t even fully cover it. It was one of those days where you have instant sweat the second you stepped outside. And the bugs were out in full force. Even with bug spray, we all left with a few new bites to remember it by. But honestly, it was so worth it. Every bit of it. I always love my time with these two and I’m seriously obsessed with so many of their images.

Faith and Ian, I love you both so much. I cannot wait for your wedding day!
