Spring is here in Indiana! Which, if you know, you know. It doesn’t exactly mean sunshine and perfect temps just yet. Around here, spring likes to keep us guessing. Stores may be full of shorts and swimsuits, but Hoosiers know better than to get too excited. One day feels like summer, the next like winter… you really just have to roll with it. So on March 14th, we counted it as a win. No rain, no sleet, no snow. It wasn’t warm, but it wasn’t brutally cold either, and honestly, for springtime in Indy, we’ll take it.

I was so excited when Mason asked me to photograph his proposal to Ava, his sweet girlfriend (now fiancée… woohoo!). I’ve known Mason since he was in preschool, and his mom is one of my dearest friends. Watching him grow up has been such a joy, and getting to capture this moment felt a little surreal in the best way.

Ava and Mason, congratulations! I’m so incredibly happy for you both and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for your life together. And thank you for braving the chilly temps so we could capture all these fun photos!
