100% chance of rain. That was the forecast that kept showing up on my phone for Shannon and Lyle’s wedding day. I kept checking the weather throughout their wedding week, hoping it would change but it never did. And the weatherman was right this time. It rained and rained and rained! But you know what? The rain was actually a little blessing in disguise! Shannon and Lyle were married at the Indianapolis Zoo and normally our zoo is completely packed with lots of adults, lots of kids and lots and lots of strollers. But due to the rainy and cold weather, the zoo was almost completely empty. So we were able to take advantage of some of the beautiful indoor locations at the zoo! I was so thankful for the butterfly gardens and the desert dome that kept us warm and dry! And now I can honestly say, these wedding photos are some of my favorite images because they are so unique and beautiful. Shannon and Lyle and their bridal party were all amazing and so easy to work with which made the day so wonderful! At one point, we all had to walk through the zoo in a downpour and not one person complained! They were all so sweet and kind and incredible troupers! And Shannon and Lyle’s vendor team was just as awesome with so many people who worked together to make this day absolutely perfect!
