Owen and Whitney’s wedding day was so incredible and special and I feel so blessed to have been their photographer. These two are so sweet and kind and just the cutest couple which made my job as the photographer very easy! They are so photogenic! (If you haven’t checked out their wonderful engagement session, you need to go check it out here!) Owen and Whitney were married on September 21st of 2023 at the Barn at Bay Horse Inn. Guys, it was such a sweet day!!!! I teared up numerous times. My eyes were watering a little during her first look with her dads and her brothers. Then I really teared up when Owen and Whitney did their first look and shared their private vows. Then I cried a little more when Sean Branch (their former teacher and coach) spoke such beautiful words of wisdom and truth in the ceremony. And speaking of the ceremony, you’ll notice a wooden cross behind them in the photos. Owen built that wooden cross for their wedding! Isn’t that incredible? This post is long and full of photos because I loved them all but one of my favorites images is towards the end where we recreated their first photo they ever took together. We did it at the engagement session and I knew we had to do it at their wedding. Knowing these two, they will be recreating this photo at their 50th wedding anniversary party! Congratulations, Owen and Whitney! I absolutely loved getting to know you both and am so happy for you guys!
