Lauren and Sam were married on a beautiful day at the Black Iris Estate in Carmel, IN. The weather was everything you dream and pray for when planning an outdoor wedding. I was so thankful for the perfect temperatures! No one was too hot or too cold. It was incredible! We started this gorgeous wedding day at the Ironworks Hotel where the girls had their hair and makeup done by some incredibly talented ladies. I’m always in awe when I watch makeup artists and hair stylists work! And this day was no different! The girls all looked absolutely stunning. After hair and makeup, we all drove over the Black Iris Estate and the wedding day went by quickly from there. Let me just say, the Black Iris is truly one of the best wedding venues in the Indy area. There are so many beautiful spots that offer such a whimsical feel to the day. I love everything about this place and always look forward to being there. Do yourself a favor and look through this blog post. You’ll see some sweet first looks with the bride’s dad, brothers and her bridesmaids before we jumped into the posed photos with the girls. Then I had the privilege of photographing the handsome groom and groomsmen! They were all looked so incredibly classy in their tuxes and were a true joy to work with. Lauren and Sam’s ceremony took place in the Willow Chapel at the estate and it feels like you are in a movie when you’re in the chapel! It’s so incredibly beautiful and charming with a simple elegance to it. After the ceremony, I had so much fun with Lauren and Sam and their entire crew of family and friends!
