Fall in Indiana! Those are three words that should spark joy in any Hoosier’s heart! When I think of fall in Indiana – I think of sweater weather, apple orchards and beautiful orange leaves on the trees. This engagement session has all three of those things! So, I can very confidently say that it was the perfect fall engagement shoot. When Ashlynn told me that she and Evan would like to have fall photos at Apple Works, I was so excited! Apple Works is one of our local apple orchards and it’s almost like Disney World to my family. It’s one of our favorite places to visit and we actually go year round. If you have never gone in the winter – you should! It is so peaceful and quiet! Their engagement session was in the middle of October and we were blessed with wonderful weather and sunshine and the fall colors couldn’t have been more stunning! I first met Ashlynn when she was in high school and was first starting out with photography. She is an AMAZING and TALENTED photographer!!!!! So, it was quite an honor when she reached out to me to see if I could photograph her and Evan’s wedding! They are such a sweet and fun couple and I had so much fun catching up with Ashlynn and getting to know Evan! They also both attended my alma mater – Asbury University in Kentucky! So, I had fun asking them about their time in college and for wisdom for my son who will be heading off to college next year. Congrats, Ashlynn and Evan! I am so excited for your wedding this summer!
