If you follow me on Instagram, you recently might have seen some proposal photos from this past summer! Gerrit and Grace were engaged this past August at one of my favorite spots in Eagle Creek. This proposal was extra special to me because I have known Grace and Gerrit for years. They both attended the small, private school where my husband is a teacher, so I have been able to watch them grow up into the amazing and beautiful adults that they are today. When Gerrit asked if I could photograph the proposal, I was sooooo excited! I hid behind a tree for about 30-40 minutes and definitely got some funny looks from hikers but it was totally worth it! It’s such a beautiful gift and honor to be included in other’s special moments like engagements and weddings! So, the first part of this post is dedicated to that beautiful summer evening at the park! Then on a very windy day in October, the three of us hit the city of Indy for a beautiful engagement shoot. I absolutely love how all their photos turned out and can not wait for their wedding day! It is going to be perfect! I can’t wait!
