Here we go! 2020 is behind us and it’s the start of the 2021 season for me! I have my first wedding of the year this weekend and I’m so excited to get back into the swing of things! I’m going to do my best to stay up to date on my blog this year so before my weddings kick into high gear, I wanted to show you guys some photos from an engagement session that I was blessed to photograph a couple weeks ago. I went up to Holland, Michigan to be with these amazing two humans and it was such a fun day! Let me just say that I’m so thankful for the hourly weather updates that helped us know when and how to dodge the raindrops. Spring weather can be so tricky. We had to make some last minute changes but it worked out and we even had a few moments of sunshine at the beach! I met up with Alexa and Matt at her grandmother’s home which provided a wonderful backdrop for photos with an adorable barn and tons of land. We then drove over to the beach and I absolutely love the images that we were able to get with the sand and the water. Lake Michigan never disappoints! And we decided to end the session with a few photos in downtown Holland. Here are a few of my favorites from their session and I can not wait to photograph their wedding day this August!
