If I had three words to describe Jessica it would be calm, kind and wonderful. I met Jessica when she was in middle school and she played volleyball for me at GCA. She was always so kind to everyone with such a gentle spirit and a smile that would light up a room. I loved watching her grow from a little middle school girl into a beautiful high school girl (with a killer volleyball serve) and then seeing her head off to my alma mater – Asbury University! Now Jess is all grown up and married to Matt – the love of her life! I’m seriously starting to feel so old. They were married a few weeks ago on June 3rd. The girls started their day with hair and makeup at Robert’s Salon and Day Spa (which is owned by Jessica’s precious dad, Robert). After that, we drove down to Martinsville to Jessica’s home church for photos before the ceremony. I tell ya, it was pretty hot that day but luckily half of the bridal party was from Texas so they said the heat was nothing compared to what they are used to, ha! The ceremony was perfect and completely focused on Christ. And we ended the day with an amazing reception which took place in Jessica’s parent’s back yard. It was an awesome party – filled with sweet moments that made you cry and crazy moments that made you laugh. I’m so honored every time I get to photograph someone’s wedding day. Thank you, Jess and Matt, for allowing me to be a part of your big day. I’m so happy for you and can’t wait to see what your future holds. Congrats!
