I love shooting at new locations and I was so happy when Morgan and Derek said they wanted a location more “off the beaten path.” My little family recently had gone on a hike through Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve in Fishers. Actually, hiking sounds like we are a really outdoorsy family and we aren’t. Ha! Maybe I should call it a 40 minute adventure walk. Well, whatever you call it – as I was walking with my family, I started wondering what this place would be like for a photo session. I’m sure you can guess by now that this was one of the locations for Morgan and Derek’s engagement session. It’s such a beautiful place with lots of trees, good hiking trails and a fun boardwalk over water. After the nature preserve we drove over to Traders Point Creamery to finish up the session. Sidetone: If you haven’t been there for dinner – go!!!! Such amazing food and a beautiful venue. I had so much fun with these two! Their wedding is coming up in May and is my first wedding for 2017! I can’t wait! Here are a few of images from their engagement session. 🙂
