Lucas is someone who is very near and dear to my family. We have watched him grow up from a sweet little boy to an even sweeter young man. He is so kind and so much fun to be around. My children just adore him. For some reason when my oldest son was learning to talk, he could not say Lucas’s name right and instead he called him LuScas. It was pretty cute. Sort of like when a kid calls “spaghetti” = “pasghetti.” I have continued to call him LuScas (wether he likes it or not – I don’t know – I’ve never asked him, ha!) Well, all that to say, I can’t believe he is graduating from high school this year. Wow. Makes me feel really old. But it also makes me feel blessed. I’m at the point in my life where I have been able to watch lives go from childhood to adulthood and, I must admit, that is pretty cool – especially when the kids turn out as amazing as this guy.
I saw this on his shoe and just had to take a photo of these words. It is the perfect way to end this blog post and the perfect way to describe this guy. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, LuScas!
