A Cincinnati Wedding

August 17, 2011

Filed in: Weddings

So……  You know how it has been really hot this summer?  Like record breaking heat?  Yep, you guessed it.  This wedding was on one of those hot, sticky days!  It was raining buckets as my second shooter (Jackie Day) and I pulled up to the beautiful country club in Cincinnati, Ohio.  We hoped the rain might cool things off but it was still hot and muggy even after the storm passed.  I say all this about the weather to say….  this bride looked FLAWLESS the whole day!  How did she do it????  I have no idea!  The rest of us were pretty sweaty  but…  wow….  her makeup and hair looked amazing even as I hugged her goodbye at the end of the night.  I really do get the prettiest brides.  🙂

Emily and Cris decided to do a first look (thank you, thank you, thank you!) so we were able to spend lots of time driving around the golf course to get photos of them together.  Their bridal party was amazing and so sweet!  And get this!  Both sides of their families learned a dance and did a “flash mob” at the end of Emily’s sister’s speech.  (And yes, there are photos of the flash mob on here!  I had to post a few!)  It was a complete surprise to Emily and Cris and it was so fun to watch everyone (even Grandma) dancing on the dance floor!

Thank you, guys, for hiring me to capture your big day in photographs.  And thank you to Jackie Day for coming with me and being an amazing 2nd shooter.
