As Eric (the groom) was getting ready for his wedding day, his dad looked at me and said, “Eric is so lucky. Amanda (the bride) is so beautiful.” To that I answered, “Yes she is and she looks so amazing in her dress! She is a gorgeous bride!” Eric’s father smiled and agreed with me but went on to explain that he was actually talking about how beautiful she is on the inside and he went on to talk about her amazing character and her love for the Lord. Wow…. I think that is one of the best compliments anyone could ever give someone! It was such a sweet thing to hear before their ceremony. And this dad knows what he is talking about. Amanda was so sweet and gentle and kind and patient. And Eric was just as wonderful – plus, he had me laughing most of the day with his witty humor. I loved seeing Eric’s face as Amanda pulled up on the horse drawn carriage for their ceremony. His overwhelming emotion of love can even be seen in the photos. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful ceremony. We even had time to take a few photos at some of my favorite Greenwood spots after their reception was done. And I need to give a special thank you to my two assistants, Dawn Stout and Hanna Bennett. They were both amazing and I’m so grateful for their help. Thanks guys!
p.s. I’m trying a new way of displaying the photos for this post – you can either click on the thumbnails to see the enlarged photo or just click on the already enlarged photo and it should go on to the next photograph. Not sure if I like this way better or the slideshow. Let me know if you have an opinion. 🙂
I like this format!!! 🙂
The wedding that day was beautiful! These pictures captured every gorgeous moment. Amanda and Eric are such a great Godly couple! I am so happy they found each other. I am also happy that they had the PERFECT photographer to capture every moment! 🙂
